Stephen A. Paget, MD, FACP, FACR, MACR, attended Downstate Medical Center in Brooklyn, NY, and received his medical degree summa cum laude in 1971. Furthermore, he conducted his internal medicine residency at Johns Hopkins Medicine. In addition, he completed his fellowship training in rheumatology in Charles L. Christian’s program at the Hospital for Special Surgery. Upon completing his residency, Dr. Paget spent two years as a clinical associate, Arthritis and Rheumatism Branch, National Institute of Arthritis, Metabolic and Digestive Diseases, at the National Institutes of Health. He received board certification in internal medicine and rheumatic disease from the American Board of Internal Medicine. Moreover, he attained fellowship of the American College of Physicians and American College of Rheumatology (FACR).
