Stephen A. Paget, MD, FACP, FACR, MACR, is a well-versed rheumatologist who diagnoses and treats patients at the Hospital for Special Surgery (HSS) in New York. He acts as Physician-in-Chief Emeritus and Director of the HSS Rheumatology Academy of Medical Educators for the HSS. Furthermore, he is an attending physician at NewYork Presbyterian Hospital as well as Professor of Medicine at Weill Cornell Medical College, Cornell University. As a rheumatologist, he has dedicated training and unique experience in the diagnosis and therapy of rheumatic diseases. Stephen A. Paget, MD, FACP, FACR, MACR, attended Downstate Medical Center in Brooklyn, NY, and received his medical degree summa cum laude in 1971. Furthermore, he conducted his internal medicine residency at Johns Hopkins Medicine. In addition, he completed his fellowship training in rheumatology in Charles L. Christian’s program at the Hospital for Special Surgery. Upon completing his residency, Dr. Paget spent two years as a clinical associate, Arthritis and Rheumatism Branch, National Institute of Arthritis, Metabolic and Digestive Diseases, at the National Institutes of Health. He received board certification in internal medicine and rheumatic disease from the American Board of Internal Medicine. Moreover, he attained fellowship of the American College of Physicians and American College of Rheumatology (FACR). Stephen A.
