Get to know Rheumatologist Dr. Stephen A. Paget, who serves patients in New York City, New York.

Dr. Paget is a rhuematologist and Physician-in-Chief Emeritus at Hospital for Special Surgery (HSS). Dr. Paget is also the Director of the HSS Rheumatology Academy of Medical Educators. Dr. Paget received his medical degree from Downstate Medical Center. He then went on to complete his residency in Internal Medicine at Johns Hopkins.

Stephen A. Paget, MD, FACP, FACR, MACR, attended Downstate Medical Center in Brooklyn, NY, and received his medical degree summa cum laude in 1971. Christian’s program at the Hospital for Special Surgery. Upon completing his residency, Dr. Paget spent two years as a clinical associate, Arthritis and Rheumatism Branch, National Institute of Arthritis, Metabolic and Digestive Diseases, at the National Institutes of Health. He received board certification in internal medicine and rheumatic disease from the American Board of Internal Medicine. Moreover, he attained fellowship of the American College of Physicians and American College of Rheumatology (FACR).
